Fiscal Transparency
- Process for determining CEO compensation: For many years, IHE’s co-founder and president was an unpaid, but full-time volunteer providing vision for IHE and also writing, speaking, strategic planning, and fundraising on behalf of our organization. When she took over executive director responsibilities in 2018 in addition to her previous responsibilities, and moved to an ex officio capacity on the board of directors, the board felt it was important to compensate her. She accepted a modest compensation, which she continues to receive today.
- Compensation of Board members: None of our Board members are compensated. They are all passionate about our efforts to change the world through making the Solutionary Framework foundational to schools and institutions, and by increasing the number and diversity of people trained in the field of humane education. Our Board members give generously of their time and expertise, many providing pro-bono services based on their specific areas of expertise.
