Director of Media and Publicity
We are looking to hire a Director of Media and Publicity to tell our stories and gain attention for our work and impacts. During the first six months, the primary focus will be on garnering media attention and reviews for IHE President Zoe Weil’s upcoming book, The Solutionary Way (coming out in June 2024), through strategically placing ads; securing high-level interviews (podcasts, television, print); and boosting sales. This position requires you to work closely with IHE leadership including Zoe, its co-founder and president. Thereafter, the position will expand to telling our organization’s stories broadly and widely; continuing to promote Zoe’s books using PR and strategic advertising; and securing ongoing media coverage for the organization’s impacts.
This job will begin as a half-time position and may expand into full-time work. For the right candidate, it could potentially begin as a full-time position.
