Stephanie Hanner joined the IHE board in 2014, and currently lives and works in midcoast Maine. A prior community engagement officer at Spectrum Generations, the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging, and marketing and communications director at Sweetser, a statewide community mental health agency, Stephanie is a graduate of the Institute for Civic Leadership’s Emerging Leaders program and has experience developing strategic communications, planning and executing fundraising events, engaging with legislative representatives at local and national levels, and building media and branding strategies.
Stephanie completed Master of Arts degrees in public and corporate communication and in diplomacy and international relations, both from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the State University of New York at Oswego.
