Gonca Keskin is an educator based at the Çarşamba Science High School, a public school in Samsun, the biggest city on the north coast of Turkey. She has been teaching English since 2001. She is the co-founder of the Global Teachers Club (GTC), where she has had the privilege of collaborating with a large, diverse group of teachers from around the world. GTC’s mission is to foster global citizenship and promote cross-cultural understanding besides achieving the SDGs.
Gonca is particularly passionate about connecting students to the world through programs like Erasmus grants, which offer invaluable opportunities for international exchange and learning. Through her dedication and hard work, she strives to provide her students with the tools they need to broaden their horizons and make a positive impact on a global scale. This endeavor is deeply important to her because she believes that a globally connected education system not only enriches individual lives but also contributes to a more harmonious and interconnected world.
