Priscilla is a dedicated mother and spends her time with her family. She also volunteers her time advocating for animals, helping to advance the local, state, federal, and global animal protection legislative agenda. While in Zimbabwe, Priscilla volunteered with an anti-poaching foundation alongside rangers and studied the organization’s mission. Her passion for making change, particularly for animals, led her to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organizational Development and Change with a concentration in Sustainability Leadership. In addition, Priscilla felt the need to incorporate animal courses within the higher education setting so she developed and teaches the Animals and Sustainability course at a university. Priscilla’s experiences have led her to IHE as a Program Manager, which allows her to incorporate her skills and knowledge when assisting in advancing the organization’s mission.
