You can help students make a real impact in your community and beyond, starting immediately.

The Solutionary Congress is a competitive event you organize in your school or district, with Solutionary Teams gathering to present practical solutions to problems in their communities or beyond that affect people, animals and the earth. The event involves students in creating a caring, humane world while developing such vital skills as:

  • effective researching;
  • writing;
  • public speaking;
  • critical thinking;
  • problem solving;
  • consensus building;
  • conflict resolution and collaboration;
  • project management and more

—all in a practical, engaging and authentic context.

The first Solutionary Congress, launched by high school teacher David Sidwell in collaboration with IHE, was hosted in Utah in the spring of 2013 and continues.  You can bring this same exciting event to your school district by downloading our free Solutionary Congress Starter Kit.
