A humane, just, sustainable world is possible. Through IHE’s work training humane educators and inspiring people to make choices that do the most good and least harm for all people, animals and the planet, IHE not only instills in others the desire and capacity to live with compassion, integrity, and wisdom, but also provides the knowledge and tools to put our values into action in meaningful, far-reaching ways.

IHE helps people find solutions that work for all by approaching human rights, environmental preservation, and animal protection as interconnected and integral dimensions of a healthy, just society.

When you support IHE, you’re investing in:

Reaching thousands with a message of hope and the call to find creative solutions that benefit all.
The training of hundreds of humane educators each year, who in turn can each reach thousands.
Supporting an organization for which more than 80% of donations go directly to programs.
Supporting an organization which created the first humane education certificate program and the first (and so far only) M.Ed. in Humane Education in the U.S.
Providing quality, relevant resources via IHE’s website, blog and Humane Edge E-news to educators and those interested in living a more humane life.
