Help Transform the World!
"When I started the program, I knew immediately that every student was valued, their learning style accommodated, and their curiosity and interests nurtured. As a professional educator, I was aware of how rare it is to find these qualities in an institute of higher education. I eagerly began the life-changing process of being a student once again in the most supportive educational experience of my lifetime." ~ Kelly Coyle DiNorcia, M.Ed. student and Humane Parenting coach
You may be one of the many people deeply concerned about widespread suffering and injustice in the world – from environmental destruction, to human oppression, to animal cruelty, to escalating materialism. You may have learned about the challenges facing all of us, and now you want to do something positive and meaningful – to help create a better world.
The Institute for Humane Education (IHE) offers excellent opportunities to you turn your concern and commitment into action by training you to bring inspiring, enlightening and life-altering humane education to others and by offering you the tools and inspiration to live a deeply humane life.
We offer several options, including:
- a distance-learning Humane Education Certificate Program (HECP);
- intensive humane education training workshops;
- MOGO (most good) workshops to help you act on what’s most important to you and achieve global change.
- Distance Learning Programs to help you thrive and transform yourself and the world.
Our engaging methods and approaches will enable you to become an effective, inspiring humane educator and a compassionate, empowered citizen.
A single humane educator can reach thousands, modeling a message of peaceful, humane living, and providing the knowledge, skills, and motivation to create profound and positive change.
Founded in 1996, IHE has trained hundreds of humane educators and has helped bring humane education programs and humane living to tens of thousands. By taking advantage of what we offer, you become part of a process that is accelerating vital positive change.
