1. Why does the Institute for Humane Education have a Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy explains how the Institute for Humane Education treats your personally identifiable information that is collected when you are on the Institute for Humane Education site or when you use the Institute for Humane Education's services.
2. Information Collection and Use
The Institute for Humane Education collects personally identifiable information when you register as an Institute for Humane Education website user.
When you register with the Institute for Humane Education, we ask for your name, e-mail address, city, state/province, and country, as well as other optional information. Once you register with the Institute for Humane Education and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
The Institute for Humane Education uses your personally identifiable information for three general purposes: to customize the information/content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain services, and to contact you for announcements, appeals, and news.

Zoe Weil, IHE's President, was quoted in an article in the most recent VegNews issue (May/June 2008). The article is "To Breed or Not to Breed," by Marla Rose, and explores the issue of whether the eco-conscious should (or shouldn't) bear children.
IHE student Karen Patterson was recently mentioned in a news article about an upcoming Green Street Fair she's helping organize in Plymouth, Michigan.
IHE graduate Kelly Coyle DiNorcia recently had an article published in the March/April issue of Mothering magazine. Kelly's article is "On Being a Parenting Original."
