SUMMARY:
One World, One Earth is a guide to help educators help youth educate themselves, organize and take responsibility and action regarding social justice issues. The book provides suggested learning activities and resources, as well as ideas for working with families and community to successfully bring these issues to children in an educational setting.

According to the authors, “education for social responsibility” includes “peace, environmental, human rights, development, international, and social justice education.” As mentioned above, the book includes ideas for learning activities and resources, including:

- Food/cooking activities
- Community service activities
- Discussion ideas
The book also includes detailed suggestions for creating a peace club or similar group.
