What is humane education?


We offer a variety of learning opportunities and resources for parents, including:

Online Courses

Learn skills and acquire tools for helping your children thrive and become their best selves, while modeling the values that are important to you. Connect with people from around the world who share your concerns.

A certificate of completion and/or CEUs (continuing education credits) are available. Courses are six weeks. Find out more.



Examine what’s most important to you, combine your passions with your talents, and connect with others who share your commitment to live according to our deepest values to create a just, compassionate world for all. Graduate Programs

If you want to delve deeper into humane education, enroll in one of the accredited online graduate programs in humane education from IHE, offered through affiliations with Valparaiso and Saybrook universities. Programs include:

  • M.Ed., M.A., M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership, M.A. in Liberal Studies, and a graduate certificate. Find out more.
