IHE's Web Content & Community Manager, Marsha Rakestraw, will be leading a workshop at the Peace and Justice Studies Conference in Portland, Oregon. Marsha's workshop is at 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 13, and is titled "The World Becomes What You Teach: Manifesting Peace Through Humane Education."
The conference theme of “Building Cultures of Peace” will explore historical, current and potential future elements of the local, regional, national and transnational struggles toward peace and justice by peaceable means.
The Peace and Justice Studies Association (PJSA) of Portland State University is hosting its annual conference in collaboration with the Peace and Conflict Studies Consortium.
