IHE M.Ed. graduate and workshop facilitator Kim Korona will be leading a workshop at the Visions of a Better World Conference in South Orange, New Jersey. The workshop is organized by the Taskforce for Humanity Coalition and is dedicated to sharing ideas and strategies for helping create a better world.
Kim's workshop is called "Doing the Most Good and the Least Harm for Yourself and the World" and focuses on helping attendees identify how best to use their skills and passions in service to the greatest good, explore the connections between their daily choices and the world they help create, and more deeply embody their values.
In addition to leading MOGO and Sowing Seeds workshops for IHE, Kim works for HEART (Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers) as a humane educator in New York City. Before earning her M.Ed. degree in humane education from IHE, Kim received a B.A. at Goddard College in Vermont, where she studied social change and food politics.
