Help transform the world! Get away from the downer of the daily headlines and be part of an uplifting experience in the company of other advocates for change! Learn how to offer effective, empowering humane education programs at our one-day Sowing Seeds workshop at Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada! Learn new activities to teach about the most important issues of our time, including human rights, animal protection, environmental preservation, media, and consumerism. This workshop is highly recommended for educators of all types and those who are considering applying to our M. Ed. in Humane Education or our Certificate Program. through education.

Regular: $95
Student: $35
The early bird deadline is May 13, 2008.
After the early bird deadline, rates will increase to $125 (regular) and $50 (student).SPACE IS LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!
The registration fee includes lunch and a copy of Zoe Weil's book The Power and Promise of Humane Education. Registration DOES NOT include housing.

Cancellation policy:
We will refund your registration, minus a $20 administration fee, if you cancel by May 2, 2008. There is no refund for cancellations after that date, but you can make arrangements to send someone else in your place.

How to Join Us
Facilitator Kim Korona will lead you through a dynamic, interactive weekend. Kim has been an IHE workshop facilitator since 2006, shortly after graduating with her M.Ed. in Humane Education; she is a humane educator for the Michigan Humane Society.
