A baby rabbit sold as an Easter present is soon forgotten by the family who bought her. Her cage is moved outside, and before long, she grows weak with hunger, cold, and neglect.

One night a girl named Rosalita takes the rabbit out of her cage, telling her she has a new home, and a new name: Bella. She is also assured that she will always be remembered.

With love and care, Bella thrives in her new home. Eventually Rosalita enters Bella in a rabbit agility contest, which Bella wins.

An important story about our responsibility to care for animal companions.
