Podcasts have become wildly popular.

We can find one on nearly every topic, and new podcasts launch every week.

We listen to them when we run, on our commutes, while we’re waiting in line.

And for us humane educators and changemakers, there is a growing list of must-hear podcasts that can increase our knowledge about global ethical issues, help us stay healthy and balanced, and improve our effectiveness in our work for a better world.

Here are just a few of the podcasts I listen to:

  • Democracy Now
  • Food for Thought
  • Kirschner’s Korner
  • On Being With Krista Tippett
  • Our Hen House
  • Politically Re-Active with W. Kamau Bell & Hari Kondabolu

and I look forward to exploring more of the ones I’ve recently discovered.

Check out our new (and growing) Pinterest board of podcasts focused on social justice, animal protection, environmental sustainability, changemaking, and healthy living.
