Christopher Greenslate joined IHE as an Advisor for the Sowing Seeds Online course in 2009. Christopher graduated with his Master of Education in Humane Education from the Institute for Humane Education and Cambridge College in 2008. He teaches English, Journalism and Social Justice at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, California.
Christopher also co-founded the One Dollar Diet Project, which began as a month-long food experiment with his partner, Kerri, during which they lived on a diet that cost them each just one dollar a day. This project attracted a lot of media attention, including from Fox News and The New York Times. The project continues as a blog, and they recently signed a book deal with Hyperion.
